6 killed, APC destroyed in Gerishk

HELMAND, Oct. 26 – At around 9:00 am early morning today, 2 police were killed after Mujahideen attacked an enemy patrol in Speni Posti area of between Gerishk and Sangin districts.
Later on, further enemy troops arrived area in an APC which came under an IED attack, destroying the APC, killing and wounding all gunmen abroad.
Meanwhile, a sniper has shot and killed a minion in Haidar Abad area of Gerishk district.
Separately, a hireling patrol came under a tactical mine attack close to Haji Abdul Aziz pump area of the said district, leaving 3 puppets killed on the spot.
