6 killed and wounded, 2 tanks destroyed in Faryab

FARYAB, Oct. 15 – Latest reports say at around 8:00 pm this evening an enemy ranger pickup was shred into pieces by an IED attack in Nahrin area of Qisar district, killing a policeman on the spot and wounding 2 others.
Separately, a gunman was killed with 2 wounded, and 2 tanks destroyed after Mujahideen attacked enemy in Koh Sayyad area of Sharin Tagab district afternoon hours today.
A Dshk, 1 RPG launcher, 2 rifles and other equipment was also seized.
