LOGAR, Mar. 21 – Al-Emarah News said early Tuesday Mujahideen intercepted the convoy ferrying Haleem Fidai, the provincial governor of Logar close to the down town Poli Alam city, the provincial capital of Logar province in which 4 security personnel were killed and two more suffered wounds.
It added 3 vehicles were destroyed in the attack but it is unclear if the governor himself has suffered casualties
According to another report from Logar, 2 policemen were killed and a vehicle destroyed when the police ran into Mujahideen ambush in the limits of Pol-i-Alam city on Monday.
Also Monday, Mujahideen pounded a check post with heavy weapons but it is not clear if there have been any casualties.
