6 including deputy police chief killed as 2 APCs destroyed in Arghistan

KANDAHAR, Aug. 31 – A hireling convoy arriving to Gun Band area of Arghistan district to retake check posts came under a twin IED attack overnight, destroying 2 APCs killing the said district deputy police chief – Esa Khan – and 5 others.
It should be mentioned that along the border of the said district 16 gunmen were killed or wounded, an APC and a  ranger pickup along with other war equipment seized when Mujahideen took over 2 check posts.
