HERAT, Oct. 18 – At around 7:00 pm yesterday a hireling commander – Sharif – was killed after being ambushed by Mujahideen close to Hazargan area of Herat city. Separately, at least 3 gunmen were wounded when Mujahideen attacked NDS HQ in Shindand district overnight. Meanwhile enemy troops arriving the scene came under a Mujahideen attack, during which an APC destroyed leaving a gunman hurt and another seriously wounded.
