GHAZNI, Jan. 2 – Al-Emarah News said 5 robbers and one accused of attempted adultery were publicly flogged as punishment in Ghazni city, the provincial capital of Ghazni province.

The group of 6 wrongdoers includes Nangyal, Zabihullah, Asadullah, Izatullah, and Mohammad Yasin coming from Ghazni city, the provincial capital of Ghazni province and Abdur Razaq from Zabul province.

Of the 6 culprits, Mohammad Yashi was captured in the very act of attempted adultery and the rest were robbers, looting people and committing robberies who were caught red-handed by the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate and turned over to Sharia court of the Islamic Emirate.

The Sharia court of the Islamic Emirate, under Islamic Panel Code, finding them guilty of the crimes, set the punishment by publically flogging them 39 times, while one of the culprits was sentenced to 25 lashes.
