KABUL, Dec. 30 – The counter-narcotics police handed over 39 drug addicts to their families after treatment at Omid Camp, said ministry of interior in a statement on Saturday.

In addition, the police arrested 30 addicts from Puli Khumri city, the capital of Baghlan province, and 5 addicts from Laghman province and transferred them to health centers for treatment, added the statement.
