Interior Minister visits Paktia province

PAKTIA, Oct. 16 – Acting Minister of Interior, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, visited Paktika province and met with tribal elders, local officials, and youths of Zehruk district, says ministry of interior.

The honourable minister stated that current rulers are responsible for solving problems. Mufti Anwar Al-Din, representing the Ulama of Zirhuq District, praised the sacrifices of the Mujahideen and the unity among Afghans during the Jihadi period. He stressed the importance of security and unity in maintaining victory and freedom.

Mr. Haqqani assured cooperation in solving ethnic conflicts and emphasized the importance of forgiveness in social life.
