18 arrested on various charges, weapons seized

KABUL, May. 28 – the anti-crime police detained 18 people in connection with murder, theft, moral corruption, and other criminal offences in Uruzgan, Parwan, Herat, Sarpol, Ghazni, Ghor, Baghlan, Laghman, and Maidan Wardak, said a statemwnt by enterior ministry.

Three suspects with a desire for weapons were arrested from Parwan, two people were arrested in connection with moral corruption from Sarpol, two people were arrested in connection with murder in Ghor, two people in connection with murder and two others in connection with injuring another person with a knife from Uruzgan province, two armed and professional robbers with two others in connection with moral corruption in Herat, a thief was arrested in Ghazni, and four others were arrested in connection with murder

Meanwhile, anti-terrorism police have discovered and seized 110 rounds of light and heavy weapons, 11,000 different types of ammunition and other military equipment in Nangarhar province.
