KABUL, Jan. 26 – As many as 314 Afghan inmates have been freed and allowed to returned home by the efforts of consulate general of Afghanistan in Jaddah, said a statement by foreign ministry.

Details say the Consulate General of Afghanistan in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has facilitated freeing of 314 Afghan prisoners from Asir, Jizan, Al-Baha, Abha, Taif, Madinah Munorah, Qunfada, Shamisi, Tabuk and Hada prisons.

The prisoners were freed and they were allowed to return to their country.
