Remaining works of Shah wa Arus Dam to be completed soon

KABUL, Jan. 18 – According to Ministry of Water and Energy, remaining works of the Shah Arous Dam project will be completed by the spring of next year and the dam will be commissioned soon.

Officials of this ministry add that 97 percent of the works of this dam have been completed by the construction company and after it is handed over to use, this dam will produce 1.2 megawatts of electricity in addition to irrigating 3,600 hectares of agricultural land. .

The State Water Supply Company is talking about the completion of the research project of the Shah Warus Dam water transfer program to Kabul and says that by handing over this dam to Kabul city, this company will Water is ready to ship.
