BALKH, Dec. 31 – As many as 18 enemy military personnel were killed and 24 more including an Arbaki commander were wounded in a series of Mujahideen attacks in Kishindih district of Balkh province last night. An officer was among those killed in the operation lasting for hours.

On Tuesday, 2 puppets were killed and 1 injured in attacks on bases in Khas Balkh district of the province.

In another report, Mujahideen fighters attacked an enemy base in Khas Balkh district of northern Balkh province on Monday, killing 2 puppets and leaving 1 injured, while an enemy soldier was shot dead elsewhere in the mentioned district on the same day.

Also Monday, an enemy soldier standing guard outside a base was shot and killed in Khas Balkh district of Balkh province.

In the province’s Chahar Bolak district, 2 Arbakis were killed and 1 motorcycle was seized from them during an ambush attack on Monday, while an enemy soldier was killed in attack on base in the mentioned district last night.

The enemy death toll has risen to 53 with 18 enemy military personnel being killed in northern Jowzjan, 6 more in Kunduz sand 2 more in Baghlan provinces over the last 48 hours
