GHAZNI, May 20 – Al-Emarah said the Islamic Emirate’s Mujahideen launched large-scale attacks on army units, posts, bases and government facilities in Ghazni city, the provincial capital of Ghazni province, and almost simultaneously two of the province’s districts, Waghiz and Dayak came under attacks.

The operation began with Ghazni city last night when Mujahideen targeted the unit of the Rapid Reaction, the central prison’s unit, and all the checkpoints in the city of Ghazni where two the post were dismantled.

The commanders of the posts, Barakat Badakhshani along with 11 others were killed and 6 more suffered injuries in the clashes in Ghazni city.  Two Mujahideen fighters became martyr with 3 others suffering wounds.

Furthermore, Mujahideen attacks all the posts as well as the police headquarters and district facility in Dayak district, killing 5 puppets and leaving 4 more wounded, where two Mujahideen fighters embraced martyrdom and one was injured in the conflicts in Dayak district last night.

A large quantity of arms and ammunition were seized from the enemy possession in Dayak district in last night’s operation.

Similarly, Mujahideen combatants attacked all the checkpoints, the district headquarters and police unit and headquarters in Waghiz district, killing as many as 37 puppets and leaving at least 53 others with destroying 7 tanks, while Mujahideen captured from the enemy various kinds and arms and ammo with two armored tanks.

Four Mujahideen combatants were martyred and two more suffered injuries in yesterday night’s operation in Waghiz district.
