KABUL, Sep. 10 – Today the program of accountability of government to the nation, which continued for a period of 1 and a half months with presence of media in the government information & media centre, has ended, said Inamullah Samngani the deputy spoksman of the IEA.

Thanks to the leadership of 44 ministries and independent government departments who presented their annual reports and answered questions.

In the accountability program, a total of 11 acting ministers, 8 heads of independent departments, 37 deputies and 41 heads of various departments, as well as 20 spokespersons of ministries & independent departments sat in panel & took part in reporting and answering.

Similarly, special gratitude to all government & private media, especially national television, who helped and cooperated with us throughout and fulfilled their task in reflecting and covering this program.

Government Information and Media Center, while appreciating the cooperation of government departments and media, intends to officially recognize government departments, media and journalists in a special ceremony in the coming days.
