516 deserving families in Nangarhar receive food aid

NANGARHAR, Oct.3 –  LIFE aid agency offered food assistance to 516 legally registered orphan families  in Nangarhar Provincial Economy Directorate and Kama Aid Agency.

Each family was given 4340 Afghan currency worth of 50 kilograms of flour, 5 liters of oil, 7 kilograms of sugar, 7 kilograms of pulses, five kilograms of macaroni (pasta) and other items.

During the distribution of the aid, the officials of the Islamic Emirate called on the aid agencies and the wealthy people to help the poor and assured transparency in the distribution of aid to the deserving people.

The Islamic Emirate’s officials upon distribution of the aid call on the aid agencies and the better-off people to offer help for the poor and deserving people and transparency in the distribution of aid to the deserving people will be ensured.
