KANDAHAR, Jan. 19 – A special commission set up under the direction of Kandahar Governor Haji Mohammad Yousuf Wafa on Wednesday provided cash, food and winter items to 500 needy families and the disabled.
Mawlawi Kamil, the head of the commission, said that the commission, under the special guidance of the governor of Kandahar, had barometrically identified all the women beggars in Kandahar and in accordance with a special policy will be provided with cash and food items every month.
