KABUL, July. 01 – The recent floods have forced many people homeless and caused substantial damage in Kabul, Parwan, Kapisa, Maidan Wardag, Nangarhar, Logar, and Paktika.

At least five people martyred in the latest floods, which also wrecked hundreds of homes.

These floods swept away thousands of acres of agricultural area, damaging crops and killing hundreds of livestock in addition to demolishing schools, roads, and bridges.

The Afghan Red Crescent has begun reaching out to those living in flood-affected areas and providing assistance.
