    • 5 killed, ranger pickup seized as post overrun in Farah

    FARAH, Oct. 15 – A hireling check post in Shamalgah area of Farah city was overrun after a brief resistance overnight, killing 5 puppets and forcing others to escape. A ranger pickup, 1 motorbike, 4 AK rifles and other equipment have been confiscated as war spoils.
