5 killed in Helmand, enemy abandons 2 check pots

HELMAND, Dec. 07 – At least 3 police were shot and killed another one seriously wounded by a sniper in Awpashak Manda area of Gerishk district last night.

Similarly, another sniper has shot and killed 2 ANA gunmen on Kandahar road in Yakhchal area, Nahr Siraj region of the said district earlier today.

Separately, enemy has fled and abandoned 2 check posts close to Terikh Zabar area of Nawa district afternoon hours yesterday.
