BAGHLAN, Jan. 25 – At least 5 enemy personnel have been killed and 6 more sustained wounds in a violent fighting following an enemy operation backed by aerial attacks in Pol-e-Khomri district of Baghlan province, according to Al-Emarah News.

It said Mujahideen thwarted the enemy offensive after hours of fighting late Wednesday, destroying an MB armored tank, while a Mujahid fighter too, suffered injuries in the operation.

The enemy, then, resorted to bombing a village in which 5 homes were razed. It is, however, unclear whether any civilians suffered casualties in the airstrikes.
