5 killed, 2 enemy vehicles destroyed in Nangarhar

NANGARHAR, Mar. 7 – Abdul Mateen, an officer and his soldier was killed in a surprise attack in Behsood district of eastern Nangarhar province late Monday. A Kalashnikov rifle and a pistol were seized from the target.

Earlier Monday, at least 3 enemy soldiers were killed and an additional 4 suffered wounds when Mujahideen ambushed the enemy in Surkh Rowd district of this province. Two of the enemy’s vehicles were reported destroyed after coming under rocket fires.

In another report from Nangarhar province, an Arbaki was badly wounded while his gunman was instantly killed in a surprise attack in Surkh Rowd district of the province.
