KUNDUZ, Oct. 6 – Fighting raged yet again in Kunduz city when Mujahideen intensified their offensive late Wednesday, extending them in the direction of city’s police headquarters and in the downtown Kunduz and Pol-e-Alchan in Imam Sahib port, leaving an unknown number of the joint enemy troops dead and wounded, Al-Emarah News said on Thursday.

Mujahideen seized enemy key posts as well as a sizable amount of arms and ammo.

An armed tank was destroyed in Mujahideen fire, while a Mujahid fighter embraced martyrdom in the entire fighting.

Late yesterday night, Mujahideen stormed the enemy in Kunduz city and dismantled a post with inflicting fatal casualties on the enemy.

Fresh reports coming in of the Kunduz city said that Mujahideen heightened their attacks in the limits of Bandar-e-Kabul (Kabul port) in Kunduz city early Thursday, leaving a large number of the enemy soldiers dead and wounded with a tank destroyed.

Kunduz operation continued into day four with Mujahideen having a significant gains and are reported to be in control of overall situation.
