FARYAB, Apr. 12 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated assaults on Arbakis check posts in Aq Bolaq area of Balcheragh district early yesterday. Attacks of heavy and light arms lasted till early evening hours, resulting in 5 check posts and 7 villages were cleared of enemy, killing 2 including commanders Amanullah. A ranger pickup, 3 motorbikes, 1 PK machine gun and other military tools were confiscated in the operation while Mujahideen suffered no casualties.
