Deputy FM Alhaj Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai meets special envoy of Uzbekistan

KABUL, Dec. 01 – Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Alhaj Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai met Mr. Ismat Irgashov, Special Representative of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan today.

Deputy Minister Stanekzai thanked the Republic of Uzbekistan for its humanitarian aid, transmission of electricity, technical & other assistance.

Mr. Irgashov welcomed achievements of the new Afghan government, adding that his country will back the call of Afghans in all international forums.

Both sides emphasized on closer and broader cooperation between the two countries in trade, transit, electricity, railway and other areas.
