KUNAR, Nov. 6 – Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mohammad Qasim Khalid, the governor of Kunar said the battle against smugglers is serious issue and no concessions would be made in this regard
“Five persons allegedly collaborating with smugglers had been arrested over the past few days and during the search operation security forces uncovered timber being smuggled from this province”, he said.
The governor added he was satisfied with the current achievements in the fight against smugglers and it would continue.
He called on the people to fulfill their responsibility to protect the national property and cooperate with the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate in preventing deforestation and smuggling.
