PAKTIKA, Dec. 11 – As many as 48 houses have been handed over by the IRC institution, which cost 7.9 million AFan In Barmal district of Paktika province.

Among these 48 houses, 33 houses have been rebuilt and 15 houses renovated.

Mawlawi Matiullah Mansour, the head of Paktika province’s natural disaster prevention department and the head of Barmal district committee, says: Two and a half thousand US dollars were spent on each restored house and 750 US dollars on a renovated house which was bared by the International Rescue Organization and 7.5 million AFN have been spent on all the houses.

Mansoor called on the officials of other institutions to expedite the construction of houses in Barmal district.
