NANGARHAR, Apr. 26 – The Islamic Emirate’s combatants targeted the administrative district building, police headquarters and the entire checkpoints in the Chparihar district late yesterday night amid Operation Al-Khandaq.
At least 4 policemen lost their lives whereas 7 more sustained wounds in last night’s operation.
In the province’s Mohmand Darah district, Mujahideen left 8 joint enemy personnel wounded and blocked off Jalalabad-Torkham highway.
Sadly, a child was martyred in the enemy indiscriminate fire.
Likewise, Mujahideen fighters targeted a dozens of the checkpoints and the headquarters of the district of Spin Ghar in Nangarhar province last night.
Later at night, Mujahideen raided the headquarters of the district of Dara-e-Noor in Nangarhar province. Dozens of the enemy personnel suffered casualties in both attacks.
Mujahideen combatants killed 4 commandos and left 5 more injured when they attacked a vehicle belong to Special Forces with IEDs in Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province late Wednesday.
Furthermore, over 37 joint enemy military personnel suffered casualties and 4 tanks destroyed over the last 24 hours in Jalalabad city, Surkh Rowd, Bati Kot, Shirzad, Ghani Khel, Mohmand Darah and Hisarak districts of eastern Nangarhar province.
In Bati Kot district, a child was martyred and another suffered life-threatening casualties when the enemy fired mortar rounds into the residential areas.
The civilians, however, suffered heavy casualties in the enemy use of heavy weapons and airstrikes in several districts of Nangarhar province.
