46 hirelings surrendeer in Nad Ali, 6 bases overrun

HELMAND, Aug. 01 – 46 hirelings troops besieged in 2 compounds turned into makeshift outposts in Wardang Charahi area of Nad Ali district surrendered themselves to the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate last night, handing over 15 US rifles, 16 Ak rifles, 6 US machine guns, 2 PKM machine guns, 3 RPG launchers, medium-range mortar tube, 3 pickup trucks and a sizable amount of ammo.

Similarly, Mujahideen managed to overrun Zarghoon village police station, Belarano Pla police station and strategic base as well as 3 other check posts during the offensive, killing and wounding dozens of hirelings, bringing further areas under their control and seizing equipment from the retreating enemy.

Officials say that Mujahideen are currently advancing on the district center and have begun targeting the administration buildings.
