 BALKH, Mar. 9 – At least 11 enemy personnel were killed and 1 was taken captives as Mujahideen seized control of an enemy military post following an operation in Chamtal district of Balkh province.

A commander was among those killed in the operation, while 7 M16, 2 U.S-made heavy machine guns, 1 rocket launcher, 1 pair of binoculars and ammo were captured from the enemy.

In another report, 4 puppets were killed and 5 more were wounded as Mujahideen pounded a base with heavy weapons in Chahar Bolak district of Balkh province.

According to reports from Nahr-e-Shahi district of the province, 12 puppets were killed and 1 got injured when Mujahideen attacked the enemy post. Arms and ammo consist of 7 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 heavy gun, 1 tank and ammunition of heavy and light arms were seized from the enemy.

Likewise, 6 puppets were killed with a tank destroyed in Mujahideen attack in Khas Balkh district of Balkh province, while a post, too, came under attack in the mentioned district in which 2 enemy personnel were wounded.

Moreover, 9 enemy personnel were killed in Mujahideen attacks in northern Kunduz and 3 in Baghlan provinces, taking the number of the enemy killed in northern Afghanistan over the past 3 days to 45.
