KANDAHAR, Mar. 08 – Food and non-food items were distributed by the Afghan Red Crescent Society to 432 needy families in Shah Wali Kot district of Kandahar province today.
The aid was provided by the Turkish Red Crescent Society where each family received 50 kg of flour, 5 kg of oil, 1 kg of beans, 5 kg of peas, 5 kg of sugar, 2.5 kg of macaroni, 2 kg of pulses, 1 packet of ash, 1 bottle of jam, 3 blankets, 1 pair of children’s shoes, 1 pair of gloves for children, 2 pairs of socks for children, 2 pairs of winter clothes for men, 2 pairs of winter clothes for children and 4 pairs of socks for adults.
