FARYAB, Jul. 07 – Officials say, a heavy gunfight erupted against enemy troops in Dasht Buz area of Juma Bazar district last night. Gunfight of heavy and light arms, resulting in 4 enemy tanks destroyed, leaving several gunmen killed or hurt inside. 3 M16 machine guns, 1 Kalashnikov, 1 PK machine gun, 1 sniper gun, 1 RPG launcher with 15 rounds and other war tools have been confiscated during the operation while Mujahideen suffered no casualties. Meanwhile, enemy blind mortar shelling has left 2 civilians martyred in Qara Sheikhi area of the said district overnight.
