KHOST, Feb. 1 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate foiled the enemy offensive and pushed the enemy advance back after a gun battle of about 5 hours in Nadir Shah Kot district of Khost province Wednesday, according to a report from Al-Emarah News.

It added at least two enemy soldiers lost their lives and a dozen more suffered injuries in the 5-hour long fighting, while a civilian was seriously injured by the enemy fire.

In another report from this province, two puppets were killed and three more were wounded when a landmine blast struck a police vehicle in Mandozi district of Khost province on Wednesday.

Earlier today, two puppets were wounded in a similar attack that hit the police vehicle in the provincial capital of Khost province.
