The municipality of Sharna, the provincial capital of Paktika, has successfully completed and launched four distinct projects totaling two million Afghanis.
During a ceremony commemorating this achievement, Paktika Governor Mullah Abdul Khaliq Abid mentioned that these projects had commenced several months ago, funded from the municipality’s own budget, and have now been finalized and put into operation.
Mawlawi Sardar Wali Sabit, the Mayor of Sharna in Paktika province, highlighted that the projects encompass the refurbishment of the new Kabul Bank building, the construction of a canal near the central hospital, the establishment of a roundabout named after Mawlawi Mohammad Sangin Fateh in Sharna city, and the installation of a gate at the junction between Ghazni and Paktika.
