4 minions taken down, 5 hurt in country’s east

LAGHMAN, Aug. 5 – Late Thursday a puppet was killed and 3 others wounded after Mujahideen stormed the enemy check post in the city of Mehtarlam, the capital of Laghman province, a report said.

According to another report from Laghman, at least 3 puppets were killed and 2 others wounded when a landmine set off under the tank carrying police to a check post elsewhere in Mehtarlam city on Thursday.

In a report from neighboring Nangarhar province, the building of the district of Bati Kot came under Mujahideen attack on Thursday. No casualties have been reported.
