 WARDAK, June 18 – Late Saturday the Islamic Emirate’s combatants opened fire on the militarily-guarded convoy with loads of supplies in Syed Abad district of Wardak province, forcing it into a halt.

At least four puppets part of the escort security forces were killed and three others were wounded in the resulting firefight, where Mujahideen shot and destroyed 2 trucks with supplies in them and 2 armored personnel carriers.

Later, Mujahideen raided a check post in Chak district of the province but it is unclear how many enemy soldiers have suffered casualties in the ensuing gun battle.

Separately, an Arbaki militant surrendered himself to Mujahideen with a Kalashnikov machine gun in Chak district of this province early Saturday morning.
