4 killed, equipment seized as check post overrun in Shorabak

KANDAHAR, Aug. 20 – Mujahideen carried out attack on a check post of a hireling commander – Allah Gul – in Srochahano area of Shorabak district overnight, resulting in the check post overrun, killing 4 puppets inside, wounding several others and forcing the enemy to flee while leaving behind a corps on the battle ground.
A ranger pickup, 1 motorbike, 1 PKM machine gun, 1 rifle and other war equipment was confiscated in the successful operation.
It is said that 3 Mujahideen were also wounded in the operation.
