4 killed as check post overrun in Paktika

PAKTIA, Aug. 17 – The Islamic Emirate’s Mujahideen conducted attacks on the enemy posts in Gomal district of southeastern province of Paktika late yesterday night, overrunning an enemy post, according to Al-Emarah News.

It added at least 4 enemy soldiers were killed in the ensuing firefight while Mujahideen continued to zero in on the rest of the posts.

In a report from neighboring province of Khost, an officer surrendered himself to Mujahideen in Spera district of southeastern Khost province on Wednesday.
