4 killed, APCs destroyed in Helmand

HELMAND, Sep. 07 – At around 3:00 pm local time today a police APC was destroyed by an IED attack in Rod area of Nawa district, leaving all gunmen killed or hurt inside.
In a similar attack another APC was destroyed by roadside bomb attack close to the said district center at noon today, killing and wounding all gunmen abroad.
Another report states that at least 4 police gunmen were killed after Mujahideen stormed their check post in Goraf Shesh area of Nad Ali district overnight.
A Mujahid is said to have been wounded in the operation.
