BALKH, Jan. 5 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate seized a post belonging to local militia in Shortifa district of Balkh province last night, leaving a militia commander and his gunman wounded.
In another report, two Arbakis were wounded in an exchange of fire with Mujahideen in Chahar Bolak district of this province late yesterday night, whereas a post came under attack elsewhere in Chahar Bolak district in which 2 policemen were killed and two Kalashnikovs were seized from the enemy.
On Friday, an Arbaki commander and his gunman were killed in an ambush attack in Shortifa district of the province.
