4 killed, 2 tanks destroyed as post overrun in Faryab

FARYAB, Jun. 05 – Reports arriving from Shireen Tagab district state that, Mujahideen carried out an attack on a police check post in Faizabad region’s Dasht area of the said district last night.
Attacks of heavy and light arms lasted till midnight, overrunning the post, killing a hireling commander and 3 police and destroying 2 tanks.
1 RPG launcher with 10 rounds, 1 rifles, 1 motorbike and other military tools were confiscated in the operation.
