TAKHAR, Dec. 12 – The Islamic Emirate’s combatants launched a series of operations in Khwja Ghar district of northern Takhar province late yesterday night, continuing into early morning hours of Tuesday in which 10 military posts were overrun, Al-Emarah corresponded said.
At least 4 Arbakis were killed and 3 more were wounded, while the rest managed to flee and Mujahideen began a pursuit operation to catch them, he added.
Mujahideen seized from the enemy a good deal of arms and ammunition in the operation.
This came a day after Mujahideen seized a major military unit from the enemy, clearing 5 villages of the enemy forces in the said district.
Separately, an Arbaki surrendered to Mujahideen with his weapon in Syagard district of northern Parwan province.
