FARYAB, Oct. 18 – At around 2:00 pm local time today Mujahideen surprised enemy troops in Faizabad area of Sharin Tagab district, says a report. Attack in which heavy and light arms were used lasted for about 2 hours during which 4 including a hireling commander – Gaman – were killed and 1 RPG launcher, 1 Dshk, 2 rifles and 1 pistol seized. It adds during gunfight an enemy APC toppled, leaving many killed or hurt while Mujahideen suffered no causalities in the whole operating.
