4 including commander killed as post overrun in Faryab

FARYAB, Apr. 02 – Mujahideen carried out an attack on a local militia’s check post in Quriesh area of Dawlatabad district mid night yesterday.
Attacks in which heavy and light arms were used lasted for about 40 minutes, resulting in the post was overrun after killing 3 Arbakis including a hireling commander, while seizing a PKM machine gun with 4 boxes of its rounds, 3 rifles with 150 rounds, 1 communication radio, 1 solar penal and other tolls.
2 Mujahideen are said to have been wounded in the operation, too.
