KANDAHAR, Nov. 23 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’ Mujahideen launched coordinated attacks on 2 enemy check posts in Dab Khakrez area of Khakrez district early night yesterday. Attacks of heavy and light arms lasted midnight, resulting in both posts overrun forcing the enemy to flee after suffering heavy fatalities while leaving 4 corpses including dead body of commander Dawod behind on the battle ground. It is said that 5 rifles, 1 heavy machine gun, 2 communication radios, a large number of various ammo and other military equipment was confiscated in the operation.
