The Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality, in partnership with the United Nations Project Services Agency (UNPS), has initiated four development projects exceeding 17 million Afghanis in the fourth, fifth, and ninth districts of Mazar-e-Sharif.

These initiatives comprise the paving of the 13th and 14th roads in Dashti Shor of the ninth district, measuring 470 meters in length and 4.5 meters in width.

Additionally, there are two sidewalk construction projects spanning 2,000 meters in the fourth district of Mazar-e-Sharif.

These projects are expected to create employment opportunities for over 200 individuals daily and are scheduled for completion and operationalization within the next three months.

Once finalized, these endeavors will address the issues faced by local residents arising from muddy conditions.
