37 killed and wounded as 7 APCs, ranger and tank destroyed in Herat

HERAT, Jan. 08 – According to reports from Kushki Kuhna district of Herat province an enemy convoy that arrived some 2 weeks ago to the surroundings of the said district for operation was forced to retreat this afternoon after sustaining serious tolls.
Details say, enemy faced continuous Mujahideen attacks and bombing since their arrival, during which 4 APCs have been destroyed by landmine attacks, a tank by RPG fire and anther tank and 1 ranger pickup by falling from a peak.
As many as 15 minions have been killed with 23 other injured in the course time of this gunfight.
