GHAZNI, Sept. 8 – As many as 33 puppets have been killed and over 14 wounded during the intense fighting over the last 5 days in Giro district of Ghazni province, according to Al-Emarah News reports.

This came as Mujahideen conducted a large-scale operation targeting the district headquarters and all enemy military installations in Giro district of the province five days ago.

A total of 33 puppets were killed and more than 14 puppets were wounded with Mujahideen overrunning 3 enemy installations in the five-day long operation, while the district center and a number of the enemy installations and a major base are said to be under Mujahideen tight siege at the moment.

Similarly, 4 enemy armored tanks and a military vehicle were destroyed in direct shooting and bombing attacks in the last couple of days.

The enemy falsely claimed that 80 Mujahideen were martyred and 110 others wounded in the fighting, whereas 7 Mujahideen embraced martyrdom with 10 others suffering injuries in the entire operation.

Separately, two police and one Arbaki were killed in attacks by Mujahideen in Shalgar district of Ghazni province on Wednesday, while Mujahideen seized 1 motorbike, 1 pistol and a radio from the enemy.
