BAGHLAN, Aug. 31 – An unknown number of the puppets were reportedly killed as Mujahideen took over a small town in Shah-e-Kohna district of northern Baghlan province on Tuesday.

Mujahideen also seized from the enemy 3 armored tanks, destroying 1 tank and 1 armored fighting vehicle in Tuesday’s operation.

In another report, Mujahideen seized a large military base known as Hajji Malik and all the surrounding posts and scores of the puppets were killed and wounded in the operation in Pol-e-Khomri district of the province on Tuesday.

A commander was among those killed in yesterday’s operation.

 

Early today, Mujahideen overran 3 military bases, killing 5 puppets and leaving a number of the enemy wounded.

Meantime, Mujahideen closed off Kabul-Poli Kunduz highway in Pol-e-Khomri district.
