The National Islamic Army has enlisted 340 young individuals from Panjshir and Baghlan provinces, says a statement of the ministry of national defense.

These youths, hailing from different districts of Panjshir and Baghlan provinces, were officially enrolled in the National Islamic Army under the supervision of the Ministry of National Defense. The recruitment process was conducted within the command structure, with the recruits subsequently directed to the Hazrat Abdullah bin Masoud Rd Joint Military Training Command for specialized training.

Addressing these recruits, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Alhaj Qari Muhammad Fasihuddin “Fitrat,” emphasized that those who stand against oppression within society are revered as its heroes. He highlighted the significance of unity, stressing that divisive tactics based on language, ethnicity, or direction must be rejected. These new soldiers were reminded that they are part of an independent national Islamic army with no foreign affiliations.

Furthermore, he expressed that these young recruits hold a significant position in society and are entrusted with safeguarding the Islamic system and the nation.

It is noteworthy that prior to this recruitment drive, numerous young individuals from these provinces had already joined the ranks of the National Islamic Army.
