33 enemy personnel killed; 2 posts taken over 

 BALKH, Apr. 20 – As many as 11 enemy military personnel including an officer were killed and 5 more were taken captives when Mujahideen combatants seized a military post in Chamtal district of northern Balkh province.

Arms consisting of 11 (M16) rifles, 2 (M40) heavy machine guns, 3 RPG rockets, 2 U.S-made sniper rifles, 2 U.S-made pistols, 1 pair of night vision binoculars, and 1 large radio with ammunition were seized from the enemy possession.

Separately, an officer serving in Shaheen corps # 209 was killed in a targeted attack in Balkh province.

In another report from Balkh province, an enemy soldier was shot dead outside a post, whereas 2 enemy personnel were wounded in an exchange of fire with Mujahideen in Charkint district of the province.

In a report from northern Baghlan province, the Islamic Emirate’s fighters took over a combat post from the enemy in Dahana-e-Ghouri district of northern Baghlan province, killing 10 puppets and leaving 9 more wounded.

Mujahideen also captured from the enemy 6 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 PK heavy machine guns, 1 RPG rocket and a good deal of ammunition.

Moreover, two of the armored personnel carriers were destroyed when Mujahideen responded to the reinforcements called in to repel Mujahideen attack.

In another report from Baghlan province, 2 enemy soldiers were killed and 1 was wounded when they were sniped by Mujahideen.

In Baghlan province’s Markazi Baghlan district, 2 Arbakis were killed in Mujahideen attacks.

In reports from northern Jowzjan province, 6 puppets were killed in separate attacks in Aqcha district of Jowzjan province.
